About the pool project in Son Vida

This project required a complete renovation as the previously poorly finished tiles had come loose. We exposed the pool down to the concrete structure and permanently repaired the entire structure with a multi-layered waterproofing system and high-quality materials. The result was a modern, watertight and durable pool.

• All old tiles removed
• Existing nozzles and floor drain uncovered and removed
• New nozzles and floor drain installed, set in concrete and integrated
• Basin completely sanded down to the concrete layer
• Primer applied with Eco-Prim from Mapei
• Glass fiber fabric incorporated as reinforcement to bridge cracks
• Sealing carried out with Implerflex WEBER
• Schlüter system installed for additional waterproofing and secure edging
• New tiles (120 x 60 cm) laid in a modern format
• Grouting with high-quality epoxy grouting material, polished to finish
