Pool renovation I Leak in Cala Murada

About the pool project in Santa Maria

This pool was leaking and had significant damage to the decking and built-in parts. As part of a comprehensive renovation, the skimmer, nozzles and floor drain were replaced, the pool was triple-sealed and fitted with new mosaic tiles. The terrace was also given a new natural stone cladding with a durable sealant.

Working at the pool:

• All old tiles (15 × 15 cm) removed
• Old skimmer removed, new skimmer installed and pipework to the plant room replaced
• New jets, new floor drain and two new light pots installed (pool previously had no lighting)
• Basin ground down to the concrete layer
• Radii additionally concreted to create rounded transitions and facilitate cleaning with the pool robot
• Glass fiber fabric integrated for crack bridging
• Triple sealing with Implerflex WEBER throughout the entire pool
• New mosaic tiles laid
• Grouting with epoxy grouting material, polished to finish

Work on the terrace and around the pool:

• New natural stone cladding laid and grouted around the pool
• Sealing with Sikagard 711 ES in three layers as stain protection
