Infinity pool renovation in Canyamel

About the pool project in Canyamel

The pool was completely renovated. A particular focus was on leveling the infinity area, as considerable problems had previously occurred here. After sealing and re-tiling, the facility now has a modern look and guarantees even overflow.

‍Workingby the pool:

• All mosaic tiles removed
• Old, rusted cover removed
• Existing nozzles, floor drain and lighting pots removed and replaced with new components, set in concrete and integrated
• Basin ground down to the concrete layer
• Radii additionally concreted to create rounded transitions and facilitate cleaning with the pool robot
• Walls and floor smoothed and plastered for exact leveling - particularly important for the infinity area
• Glass fiber fabric applied to bridge cracks in the entire pool including the infinity area
• Entire pool incl. infinity area triple-sealed with Implerflex WEBER
• New tiles (33 x 66 cm, Marfil color) laid throughout the pool and infinity pool
• Jointing with 130 Marbeil jointing material
• New lighting installed

Work on the terrace:

• Surface thoroughly cleaned (whitewashed)
• Joints repaired
• Sealing with Sikagard 711 ES applied in three layers as stain protection
